My name is Hema Tiwari and I am the owner of Magnificent Minds Daycare. I studied Psychology with a minor in Childhood Education for my bachelors. I then received my Masters in Curriculum of Instruction in Mathematics from Concordia University.

While I was finishing my Bachelors, I worked at a local Daycare. I loved the experience and thought about opening a daycare one day. At the same time, I worked for the STEM (Science, Technology, Science, and Math) program at York College. When I graduated, I started working at a Charter School in Queens. I gained experience for three years before I accepted a job with the Department of Education. I have been teaching with the Department of Education for 11 years as a classroom, afterschool phonics, and test prep teacher. I also worked with Disney kids to produce plays in schools so that students have an outlet for their creativity.

‌During that time, one of my main observation was that students are entering Kindergarten without the basic knowledge needed. So, I decided to make a change and open my own daycare to ensure that our kids learn the knowledge and skills so that they are prepared for Kindergarten. With my experience and skills acquired in my years of Education and my trustworthy assistants, we can ensure that your child will be Kindergarten ready!
